The off season is a great time to have your equipment
cleaned and tested. While it's here, we may recommend certain upgrades
or enhancements based on its age that are now available.
As a Marshall customer, check here for upgrades and other model
options that may apply to products you already own. Our goal is
to keep existing customers current with new developments, and eliminate
obsolescence as much as possible. If you see something that could
apply to you, call us to arrange the best time to send your unit
in for the upgrade:
The collapsible yagi antenna upgrade
In early 2001, we switched the design of the yagi to include nickel-coated
brass end-pieces with copper inserts in the brackets for an improved
and rugged electrical connection for each antenna element. If you
have a receiver purchased before this time, you may want to consider
having the upgrade done.
You can either send in your antenna detached from the receiver
or send it in with the receiver for tune and test. The cost of
the upgrade replacement (parts and labor) is $45.
The Field Marshall 15 Channel upgrade
Your Field Marshall 5 or 10 channel can now be upgraded to include
15 channels. A new front control panel and rotator switch is installed
and you can specify the frequencies to be added. Most common is
all 15 in 216 but some have added channels from another band such
as 217 or 218 for flexibility. Cost is $125 for adding 5 channels,
$225 for adding ten.
Elimination of "ground plane" antenna
for HP Dog Collar
This upgrade is available free to any customer whose collar is
within the warranty period. Older collars can still be converted
for a cost of $25.
